Building pile driving (pile foundation) technology is a cutting-edge technology in non excavation methods. As one of the main systems for mud and water pile driving (pile foundation), the mud treatment system directly affects the construction progress and quality. One of the prominent problems faced by the application of this technology is the treatment and rational use of mud.

The volume of pile driving mud is usually four times that of solid soil, with a ratio of 1:3 between the volume of solid soil and added water. The concentration of pile driving mud is usually between 150-220g/L. Mud usually contains about 5-10% sand and gravel. The moisture content of the separated sand and gravel is less than 20%. The moisture content of the cement cake is about 70%, and the moisture content varies greatly among different soil types. However, the cement cake can be directly loaded and transported without dripping water. Due to the good permeability of the cement cake after tempering, the internal moisture is easy to evaporate and is not prone to secondary mud formation. After 1-5 days of air drying, the moisture content can be reduced to below 30%. Concentrated water undergoes fine filtration to ensure compliance with the secondary discharge standards.
